Radiofrequency Skin Tightening (Deep) Non-Surgical Facelift is a non-invasive and FDA-approved aesthetic treatment that uses controlled radiofrequency to improve the effects of skin damage and skin ageing.
It stimulates the skin’s natural process and the treatment encourages collagen production, which helps smoothen and rejuvenate the skin. It is a skin tightening treatment that makes it possible to restore the skin’s firmness and smoothness without the need for surgery or injections and requires minimal to no downtime.
The Problem
Radiofrequency Skin Tightening (Deep) is a suitable treatment of choice for those who want to achieve a subtle and natural-looking result without the “over-done look”. Also, it is an alternative to invasive and expensive surgical facelifts. It is also the perfect solution for those who have wanted to win the battle against aging in which anti-aging creams are not able to provide the intended results and cosmetic surgery is out of the question.
The Treatment
Radiofrequency Skin Tightening (Deep) delivers and targets the radiofrequency energy to the deeper layers of the skin, which excites and activates the production of new collagen. It is a safe alternative for anyone who has mild to moderate laxity to the skin and works well on all skin types and colours.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

READ OUR FAQ’S ON THERMAGE CPT AT DR TYNG TAN AESTHETICS AND HAIR CLINIC.
1. HOW DOES RADIOFREQUENCY SKIN TIGHTENING (DEEP) WORK?
This procedure uses a handheld device that delivers radiofrequency and safely heats the collagen fibres deep within the inner layers of the skin, which over time, remodels new collagen to tighten and contour the skin. The outer layer of the skin is protected with a cooling spray before and after each pulse, to reduce the slight heating sensation and making the entire procedure comfortable and pain-free.
A topical anaesthetic cream will be applied prior to the procedure to lessen the heating sensation you will experience during the procedure. Also, your doctor will constantly monitor the heat that is being delivered to ensure that you do not take too much heat during the treatment.
2. HOW IS RADIOFREQUENCY SKIN TIGHTENING (DEEP) DIFFERENT FROM OTHER SKIN TIGHTENING TREATMENTS?
There are quite a number of other non-invasive treatments, like laser and ultrasound technology, that provide skin-tightening benefits. However, no other treatment targets the deeper layers of the skin like the procedure does. It heats the innermost layers of the skin, making it an effective treatment in stimulating collagen regrowth, which is responsible for giving a radiant and younger-looking skin.
3. DOES THE TREATMENT HURT?
Some patients may experience slight discomfort. But, recent device uses the Comfort Pulse Technology or CPT, which breaks down the radio frequency into several pulses. So, pain and discomfort are significantly diminished compared to what one can experience.
4. DO I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT RECOVERY AND DOWNTIME?
Since the treatment is non-ablative and the action happens under the skin, the outer surface is untouched and undamaged. This allows patients to return to their daily routines. Slight swelling, redness or bruising may be experienced within the treated area, however, these side effects happen in rare cases.
5. HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?
The Treatment takes around 45 to 90 minutes to finish, making it a suitable skin tightening treatment for individuals who are constantly on the go.
6. HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE NEEDED?
It takes one treatment to accomplish astonishing and natural-looking results.
7. HOW SOON WILL I SEE THE RESULTS?
While individual responses to the treatment may vary, improvement is progressive in a span of 1 to 6 months. (Dover et. al, 2007).
